Dental Trauma Management Research Oral Presentation Competition
We invite submissions for the Dental Trauma Management Research Oral Presentation Competition. To participate, please follow the steps below:
Submission Process
- Abstract Submission:
Email your abstract to info@arapd.orgno later than 1 February 2026. - Review and Notification:
All abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. You will receive the committee’s decision by 15 February 2026via email. - Email Delivery:
Notifications will be sent from info@arapd.org. Please check your spam/junk folder to ensure you do not miss any correspondence. - Conference Registration:
Please note that abstract submission does not constitute conference registration. All presenters must register for the Dental Trauma Management Conference separately. - Proof of Registration:
Accepted projects will only be included in the final presentation schedule once proof of conference registration has been submitted to the committee.
Competition Assessment Criteria
The Scientific Committee will assess all abstracts based on the following criteria:
- The research must be directly related to dental or maxillofacial trauma.
- Abstracts must not exceed 300 words.
- Study aims must be clearly and explicitly stated.
- The methods section must include a clear description of the study population/subjects, assessment methods, and data analysis.
- The study design and methods must be appropriate for addressing the stated hypothesis.
- Results should be clearly and coherently presented.
- Conclusions must be consistent with, and supported by, the study results.
Research Oral Presentations
- Successful candidates will present their research in the main congress hall on Wednesday, April 15, and Thursday, April 16.
- Each presenter will be allocated 15 minutes:
- 10 minutes for the oral presentation
- 5 minutes for audience questions
Publication
All accepted research abstracts will be published in the Advancements in Paediatric Dentistry Journal.
Research Prize
Abstracts and presentations will be evaluated by a panel of judges. The winner will be announced during the closing ceremony.
The Research Presentation Prize includes:
- Certificate of Achievement
- Research will be published in the Advancements in Paediatric Dentistry Journal
- Complimentary admission to the next Dental Trauma Guide Symposium in Copenhagen
