DENTAL TRAUMA MANAGEMENT E-POSTER Competition

 

Abstract Submission

To present your work as an E-Poster at the Dental Trauma Management Conference, please follow the steps below:

  1. Submit Your Abstract:
    Email your abstract (as described below) to info@arapd.org no later than 1 February 2026
  2. Assessment & Notification:
    The Scientific Committee will review all submissions. You will be notified of the committee’s decision by 15 February 2026, via email.
  3. Email Delivery:
    All correspondence will come from info@arapd.org. Please check your spam/junk folder to ensure you receive our messages.
  4. Conference Registration:
    Please note that abstract submission does notconstitute conference registration. E-Poster presenters must register for the Dental Trauma Management Conference separately.
  5. Confirmation of Registration:
    Accepted abstracts and posters will only be scheduled for presentation once proof of conference registration has been submitted.

Abstract / E-Poster Judging Criteria

The Scientific Committee will evaluate submissions according to the following:

  1. The case/research project must be related to dental and/or maxillofacial trauma.
  2. The abstract must not exceed 300 words.
  3. Clinical cases must be fully described.
  4. Research Aims must be clearly and explicitly stated.
  5. Research methods must include a clear description of the study population/subjects, assessment methods, and data analysis.
  6. The study design must be appropriate for addressing the stated hypothesis.
  7. Results must be clearly and coherently presented.
  8. Conclusions must be consistent with, and supported by, the results.

E-Poster Format Requirements

The Dental Trauma Management Conference 2026 utilizes digital (E-Poster) presentations displayed on interactive monitors. This format replaces traditional printed posters.

E-Poster Submission Deadline: 1st of February 2026

Formatting Specifications

  • Language:All E-Posters must be prepared in English.
  • Software:Use the official PowerPoint template provided below, then export your final poster as PPT, PDF, PNG, or JPEG.
  • Orientation & Layout:
    • Portrait (vertical)
    • 16:9 ratio
    • Recommended page size: 01 cm (W) × 142.02 cm (H)
  • Pixel Dimensions:
    • Minimum: 1125 × 2000 px
    • Maximum: 2250 × 4000 px
  • Resolution:300 DPI
  • Color Scheme:
    • Use high-contrast combinations (e.g., dark fonts on light backgrounds or vice versa).
    • Avoid low-contrast color choices.
  • Fonts:
    • Minimum font size: 24 pt
    • Increase font size if the layout appears sparse
    • Sections and titles may be adjusted as needed
  • Links:
    • Do not include hyperlinks.
    • If external information is required, use a QR code.
  • Media:
    • Allowed: Images, graphs, tables
    • Not allowed: Audio, music, or video files
  • File Size:Maximum 10 MB
  • Save your E-Poster on a USB memory stick and bring it with you.

E-Poster Tips for Effective Communication

  • Use large fonts and limit text to essential information.
  • Keep your content simple, clear, and visually engaging.
  • Ensure the information flows logically; use numbers, arrows, or letters if needed.
  • Use high-quality visuals—graphs, images, diagrams—to support your message.
  • Present your final conclusions as a brief, focused summary of your key findings.

E-Poster Display

  • E-Posters will be available for viewing throughout the duration of the Dental Trauma Management Conference.
  • Presenters may be asked to stand by their posters during coffee or lunch breaks to answer questions from delegates and judges.

Publication

All accepted poster abstracts will be published in the Advancements in Paediatric Dentistry Journal.

Poster Prize

Poster abstracts and E-Poster presentations will be evaluated by a panel of judges. The winner of the Poster presentation Award will be announced during the conference’s closing ceremony.

The prize includes:

  1. Certificate of Achievement
  2. Research will be published in the Advancements in Paediatric DentistryJournal
  3. Complimentary admission to the next Dental Trauma Guide Symposium in Copenhagen
